I was struck today at how much we are living in the future. Our family gathered around my laptop, sitting on the living room coffee table, and video-conferenced with our oldest son; who was half a world away in Okinawa. The amount of infrastructure, technology and effort that went into making that small moment, that situation of wealth for us, is utterly astounding.

Today, take a moment and really think about, and be grateful for, all that is possible today with technology and the internet.
